What are Love Earthing plates made from?
Crafted from fallen palm leaves and pressed into shape using only heat and water. Each plate features an etched design that adds simple and natural style. Strong, compostable, and fully biodegradable—made to return to the earth
Can I use Love Earthing plates in the microwave?
No.
Can I use Love Earthing plates in the oven?
No.
Can I use Love Earthing plates in the dishwasher?
No.
Can I reuse my palm pressed plates?
Palm-pressed plates are designed for single use, but they’re sturdier than typical disposable plates. If used for dry or light foods and cleaned gently (no soaking), some customers choose to reuse them once or twice.
However, since they’re made from natural palm leaves with no added coatings, we recommend treating them as compostable, single-use plates—especially for food safety.
How do I compost my plates?
Option 1: Compost Bin
Break the plate into smaller pieces and place it in your home compost or green waste bin. In warm, active compost, it can break down in about 60–90 days.
Option 2: Trash Can (If Compost Isn’t Available)
If composting isn’t an option, the plate can still go in the trash. It's made from 100% natural palm leaves, so it will break down much faster than plastic—even in a landfill.
